Yellow Flowers

 Happy Monday!

It's going to be a little warmer today than yesterday and I'm glad about that

We're coming up on Easter Sunday and soon it will be May,

                                              which is the month of Mother's Day.                                                                

So this is another Mother's Day card and I used a Sunday Stamps sketch.

This is for SSC382.

My image is from a stamp set by Penny Black: Wings & Vases.  The vase with flowers had a coordinating die, but the butterfly did not.  I had to fussy cut it out.

My paper is from My Mind's Eye: Now and Then.  I think this is an older paper pack that I've had for a while. 

The oval that I used comes from a die set by Waffle Flower called Folk Art Bird.  Sentiment is from Taylored Expressions: Get the Word Out-Mother's Day.

Flowers For Mom

I'm starting to make some Mother's Day Cards because before you know it, that day will be here.

This is my first one and I used FMS #729 for my design.

I used A2 Pierced Blanket Cover Plate by Picket Fence on some tan cardstock and adhered that to some designer paper.

The oval is Fancy Edged Oval die by Spellbinders.

The focal point is a vase of flowers from Wings & Vases stamp set by Penny Black

Sentiment is from a stamp set called Tulips by Waffle Flower.

Easter Duck

I thought that this little duck was so cute and I had to put him on a card.

This is for PP778.

The duck die is by Impression Obsession: Duck.

I used Fishtale Flags Stax by Die-Namics and Nesting Decagons by Lifestyle Crafts.

The sentiment is from Waffle Flower: Egg Hunt.

Green Easter Eggs

Today, I decide to create a card for Try A Sketch On Tuesday.  This is for TSOT #691.

I really like this sketch.  I plan on using it again.

I went with green.

The circles are Mini Nested Stitched Circles by We R Memory Keepers.  

The eggs are a die set called Lots of Eggs by Paper Rose.  I used the smallest egg.

The foliage is from a die set by Altenew called Picture Frame.  I only used the foliage from it.

The grass is Small Grass Border by Impression Obsession.

The sentiment is from a Sunny Studio stamp set called A Good Egg.

One Cupcake, Two Cupcake

Happy Saturday!  It is such a beautiful day here.  Not that warm, but not that cold either.  In the 50's.

So I decided to get my card made for Freshly Made Sketches #728.  I went with a birthday theme.

I used Inverted Stitched Scalloped Hexagon dies for my focal point.  These dies are by Dress My Craft.

I added a cupcake on the two largest ones.  (I used these cupcakes before on another project.)  They are from Impression Obsession.  

I added the Party Banner Duo die from Sugar Pea Designs.  I just die cut one and snipped it in half.

The sentiment is from Waffle Flower called Hey Cupcake Sentiments.

The background paper is from Honey Bee Stamps: Pinstripes & Polka Dots: Spring.

Eggs for Easter

I told myself that I had to get this card finished before the day was over and I did!  Yay!

This is for FMS #727.

I used the Eggcellent Easter Basket die from Lawn Fawn.  The scalloped panel is from Honey Bee Stamps: Scallop A7 Card Frames.

The sentiment is from an old stamp set by Stampendous called Greetings Galore.  They're all separate words and I had to piece them together.

With Sympathy

This is a card I made for Splitcoast Stampers Sketch SC1104.  I ended up turning it into a sympathy card.  You never know when you might need one.

The die that I used for the half circles is from Spellbinders: Brillante Rondelle.  The small flower die is Dainty Blossoms from Pinkfresh Studio.

Sentiment is also from Pinkfresh Studio. A stamp set called With Sympathy.

The background paper is from an Altenew paper pad called Dreamy Sunset.

For The Love Of Books

This card is for TSOT #690 and also Double Trouble Challenge #211.  I went with books.  I used the stamp set by Altenew called Tall Tale.

The background is from a Waffle Flower die and stencil called Pop-Up Books Panel.

The two open books on the card are from two different stamp sets.  The smaller one is from Catherine Pooler: Floral Fiction.  The larger one is from Altenew: Tall Tale.

My little book reader is sitting on a variety of colorful books that is from a paper pad by Echo Park called Bookish.

Basket of Easter Eggs

 I wanted to complete this card before the day was over.  It is now after 11:00 p.m. and I think I am going to make it.  

This is my take on FMS #726.  It took a while to put it together, but I love the way it turned out.

The designer paper is from a Carta Bella paper pack called Here Comes Easter.  For the base, I embossed a piece of very light pink card stock with Waterfall embossing folder by Couture Creations.  The tag is from Round Tags Trio by Carta Bella.

The Easter basket is a die set called Eggcellent Easter Basket by Lawn Fawn.  Also, the sentiment is a die by Lawn Fawn.

I added a bit of grass just for fun.

Stack of Books

 

This is a card created for Splitcoast Stampers Sketch SS1102.  The background paper and fishtail tags are from Newton's Nook Coffee House Stories paper pad.

The stack of books is from a stamp set by Catherine Pooler called Floral Fiction.  I colored the image and adhered it to a piece of white cardstock that I masked with an oval stencil in teal.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

I had to round the corners of the tags with a corner punch.

Fairy Wishes

 I decided to try my hand at The Paper Players theme challenge.  This is PP775 and also Splitcoast Stampers Sketch SC1103.

The theme is Mythical Creatures.  I went with a mushroom house and fairies.

I stamped the mushroom house with a stamp set by Lesia Zgharda called Fairy Tale House-Mushroom.  I colored it with colored pencils and cut it out with a stitched oval die that I ink blended.  

I placed little fairies all around the house.  These fairies are from a die set by Trinity Stamps called Fairy Trio.  They are so cute with their little wands.  I put some silver stickle near the fairy sitting on top of the house to make it look like she was blowing fairy dust.  There is also some stickle near the other two fairies' wands.
