Thinking of You Flowers

 Another cold day.  Right now, it is 14 degrees outside.  I can't wait for spring.

So this is my take on Freshly Made Sketches #721.  I stamped and colored this stamp set by Penny Black.  It's called Playful and there is a coordinating die.  The die can also be used alone.

The paper is from a paper pad by Pinkfresh Studio called Delightful.  I backed the flower with an oval instead of a circle.  The oval was created with two dies: Candlewick Ovals by Spellbinders and Stitched Oval Set by Cottage Cutz.  The sentiment is from a stamp set by Waffle Flower called Sweet Lattice Sentiment.

   

Cupcakes and Calories

 It's still cold here in Connecticut, but I'm staying warm.

Today I decided to play along with The Paper Players.  This is PP770.

I went with the Cupcakes die set by Impression Obsession and I placed them onto a postage die by Waffle Flower.  The sentiment is also from Waffle Flower, "Sweet Treats".

Birthday Mixing Bowls

It's Saturday afternoon and everyone is still waiting for this snowstorm Benjamin to start.  Wishing it would just not happen at all. 😒

While I wait, I wanted to post my card for Splitcoast Stampers Sketch #1098.  I went with mixing bowls from Impression Obsession. (The die set is really called "Soup Bowls").  The cooking utensils are from a stamp set by Colorado Craft called Baking Background.  The stamp is 6x6 and I had to stamp the entire stamp and then die cut out the items that I wanted to use.  It's a versatile stamp set because it can just be used for a background or individual stamped images.   The sentiment is from Crafter's Companion, "Baked With Love".

Ready To Bake

 This is the calm before the storm. Connecticut is supposed to get hit with Storm Benjamin that may bring 12 to 18 inches of snow our way on Sunday into Monday.  So I guess I will be spending a lot of time in my craft room this weekend working on cards.

So here is one for Freshly Made Sketches #720.  Eventfully it will be for someone's birthday.

Background paper is from the paper pad by Carta Bella called Roll With It.  The oven mitt and pot holder are from a die set by Impression Obsession called just that: Oven Mitt & Pot Holder.  I added some little cakes on the bottom.  These are from a stamp set by Waffle Flower called Sweet Treats.  The sentiment is from a Honey Bee stamp set called You Bake Me Happy.

Polka Dot House

 This was a very interesting sketch by Splitcoast Stampers.  But I said, I will accept the challenge.

SC1096 features a house with clouds.  So I used a stamp set by Riley and Company from their Mushroom Lane collection called Polkadot House 1.  There is a coordinating die set that cuts out different sections of the image. I colored the original image and then copied it multiple times using my printer so I wouldn't have to continue to color several images.  (Coloring is a lot of work!)  The sentiment is from the Honey Bee Stamps set called To The Wise One.

Birthday Jukebox

Playing along with Splitcoast Stampers #1093.  I created this card for my son's upcoming January birthday.

I used a stamp set by Sugar Pea Designs called Jukebox Jive. The papers I used are from Reminisce, 90's Flashback Collection -"Favorite Hits".  I stamped and colored the image with Faber-Castell colored pencils.
