Delicate Blooms

 It's a beautiful Saturday afternoon.  It has reached 50 degrees here in Hartford.  This will definitely help to melt all the snow that we have.

I'm sharing by card for FMS #725.  

The background paper is "Here Comes Easter" by Carta Bella.

The focal shape that I used is from a die set by Honey Bee Stamps called "Ocean Deep Scene Builder".  I used the next biggest die from it.  I embossed it with "Bubble Wrapping" embossing folder by Sizzix.

The flowers are a combination of "Blossom Bunch" by Impression Obsession and "Wildflower 5" by Paper Rose.

The sentiment is from "Full Bloom Sentiments" by Waffle Flower.

Full Blooms

 Yesterday, we had a blizzard.  Blizzard Calvin was its name and boy, was it a doozy!

Blowing snow and it just kept piling up!  Thank goodness for snowblowers.  My husband worked hard at getting up the snow.  I helped a little. 😊

Now, on to my card.  This is for Try A Sketch On Tuesday, TSOT #689.  I thought these were some nice colors to work with.  The flowers are from a die set by Waffle Flower: Sweet Poppy.  Sentiment is also Waffle Flower: Full Bloom Sentiments.

Time to Read

 I made a boo-boo the last time.  I forgot to link my card to the sketch blog.  Well, not this time.

This is for Freshly Made Sketches #724.  I went with books.  Actually, I'm trying to get back into reading more.

I used the die set by Waffle Flower: Layered Books.

The sentiment is also from Waffle Flower: Simple Book Sentiments.

I like how the teal colors all come together.

Floating Feathers

 Today is February 14Th, Valentine's Day.  Got a box of chocolates from hubby. Gave him an engraved rock that said, "You're My Rock". 

I like this sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.  You can do a lot with it.  

This is my take on FMS #723.

The background paper is Anything Goes by Echo Park.  It was perfect for the feathers.  

The feathers are from Paper Rose called Feather Trio.  

The middle section is one of the dies from Labels 33 by Spellbinders.

Box of Chocolates

 I think this is Valentine's card number three.  I don't really plan on giving them out to people, I just like making them.

This one is for FMS 722.  I flipped the design and I just used older paper that I've had for a while.

The focal point, the candy, is a die set by Paper Rose called Chocolate Box.  I layered that onto a die cut piece I cut out using Heart Squares by Spellbinders.  The sentiment is from a Waffle Flower stamp set called Elegant Love.

Happy Valentine's Day

 Another Valentine's Day card using the same die by Trinity Stamps - Intertwined Heart.

This card is for Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge 1100.

I didn't have the idea size of arch die, so I ended up using a die from Pinkfresh Studio called Terrarium.

Paper is from Brutus Monroe: Forever Yours and Pink & Main: My Heart.  The sentiment is from a stamp set by Hero Arts: Celebrate Everyday.

Intertwined Hearts

 

This is my first Valentine's Day card of the year.

This card is for TSOT Challenge #688.

I used the die by Trinity Stamps, "Intertwined Heart" as my focal point.  I added the little swirly die from the stamp set "Tiny Donut Dipper", also by Trinity Stamps.

The sentiment is from a die set by Avery Elle called "Embellished Heart".  

I don't remember where the background paper comes from.  I think it's from a 12x12 Valentine's paper pack that I've had for a while.
