Autumn Blessings

It's another weekend.  It's Saturday to be exact.

I finished this card last night (Friday) so I'm just now posting it.

This card is for Freshly Made Sketches #702.  I went with a fall/autumn theme.

For the focal point, I used a die set called Wreath by "Reverse Confetti".  (This company is no longer in business.)😞 It comes with two separate dies so I used them both.  The two leaves are part of a die set from Creative Expressions called Flower Garden.  The sentiment is from a stamp set by Picket Fence Studios called "An Autumn Pair of Boots".

Floral Sympathy

I'm cutting it close with this challenge, but I really wanted to take part in it.

With this challenge by Sunday Stamps Challenge 367, I went with a floral design.  It says to Put A Bow On It, so on my gray bow I added a die by Concord & 9th called "Blossom".  The sentiment is from a Waffle Flower stamp set called "Tender Thoughts".

Surfboard Trio

We all know that summer is coming to an end, yet I decided to make a summer card.  When I saw this sketch, I thought of these surfboards.  This would really work with FMS #701.

The surfboards are part of a stamp set by Pretty Pink Posh called "Summer Surfboards".  There are a total of six surfboards in the stamp set and I chose to use the first three.  There is also a coordinating die that will cut them out. I colored them with colored pencils and die cut each one out.  The background paper is from a Honey Bee Stamps pad set called "Vitamin Sea".  The sheet that I chose has a variant of colors making it look as if the surfboards are standing up in the sand with the ocean and sky behind them.  The sentiment is from the same Pretty Pink Posh stamp set.

The little flying birds are from a die set by Paper Rose called "Small Flying Birds".  I figured that adding the birds would help to make the card background to not look so empty.

A Good Book and Coffee

I've had this image for quite a while, and I came across it just recently.  I'm not sure if it's a digital image or from an actual stamp.

I'm thinking...can I use this image for the PP752 sketch?  So I found some great paper that was close to the colors in the image.  (This image was colored with Copic markers, by the way).  She looks so relaxed with her cup of coffee and sweet, little puppy that the sentiment I added fits perfectly.  It comes from Waffle Flower "Simple Book Sentiments".  I fussy cut the image out and attached it to a dotted oval by a die set of the same name by Sizzix.

Hello Fall

I decided to play along with SplitcoastStampers  Sketch #1076.  The papers that I used are from Farmstead Harvest paper pad by American Crafts.  I backed it with some green cardstock.

The colorful leaves are from a die cut set by Waffle Flower called "Fall Leaves".  The solid part of the leaves I cut out in black paper that had a bit of shine to it with the overlay of the leaves in various designer paper.  The sentiment is from a Waffle Flower stamp set called Hello Fall. 😄

The enamel dots are from Doodlebug Design: Sprinkles-Black & White Assortment.  I used all three.

So Many Books

On this FMS #700 I didn't go with a square card.  Just my regular A6.  I used an Altenew stamp set called Tall Tale.  My paper rectangles are from the Simple Stories collection My Story called Share Your Story.  I die cut out the stack of books and the reading glasses.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Nutty Day

The Paper Players challenge this week, PP751, was to create a card and include a critter of some kind.
After searching through my various stamps, I came across "Chipmunk & Squirrel" stamp set by Altenew.

I decided on the little chipmunk because he looked so cute holding his little acorn. I colored him with colored pencils, along with the tree stump and the two little grass/rocks images and die cut everything out.

I embossed a piece of white cardstock with "Birch-Fades" embossing folder by Sizzix.  Then I went over it lightly with Sand Castle ink by Catherine Pooler.  I backed that up with some light green cardstock before attaching to my white card base.
The sentiment comes from the same Altenew stamp set.
